Is my contribution tax-deductible?
No. recentia.fyi is not a registered charity or non-profit. Contributions are voluntary platform support payments, not charitable gifts, and are not tax-deductible in any jurisdiction.
What do I get in return?
Nothing — and that's intentional. recentia.fyi does not offer contributor tiers, badges, privileges, or premium features. Every user on the platform has the same access. Your contribution simply helps keep the community running.
Are contributions refundable?
No. Because contributions are voluntary and no goods, services, or benefits are provided in return, all contributions are final and strictly non-refundable. Please review your amount carefully before confirming payment.
Is this platform financially sustainable without contributions?
We aim to build a platform that operates sustainably. Community contributions help accelerate development and improve the experience, but recentia.fyi does not depend on them to stay online. We will never add paywalls or remove core features if contributions are low.
What currency are the amounts in?
Amounts are displayed in USD. Stripe will handle currency conversion based on your payment method's billing country at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of processing.
